From the standpoint of my personal beliefs, many people (if not the majority) today has long forgotten what history has taught us. Heck, most of us never had to endure through Nazi rule and the holocaust, and it no longer matters even if our parents, or great grandparents did. We disrespect and discard the old - and yet, the old holds wisdom.

What I'm seeing (from a non-white, immigrant perspective), is that the white majority, mostly male that are of voting age, are facing a tremendous "loneliness" epidemic, exacerbated by decreased job opportunities for them, with or without a college degree, rampant debt, and higher female standards leading most of them to be single, isolated and desperate in need to search of some meaning in life.

Such meaning was not being taught from young, men did not learn how to form strong community bonds from young (perhaps ingrained by their parents). The apparent decline in muscularity in workplaces, society, and even politics (yes, left-leaning people are *soft*, and prefer soft power over just strongmen ones), made them felt as if they have lost their place in society. Many of us men are clueless how to continue to even live in this modern age, where the income gap between gender is becoming smaller, minorities are slowly rising up in social, economic and political participation.

All these conditions created nothing short of young men who "hates" women, who "hates" immigrants of "taking their jobs", even though it may only be true in contrived cases. It's as if suddenly the world has turned against them - adding to the insult, democrats continue to preach on women's rights, and want to "install" Kamala Harris so that she could continue to affirm that men's power is declining in society. Perhaps the tone would be a little different if Tim Walz is the presidential candidate. Sad to say, sexism is still very much rampant today, even if most people don't admit it. (trust me, it will continue well into centuries into the future).

On another note, perhaps on a more spiritual level - I think most of us believe in the notion of past lives and reincarnation. And perhaps, just perhaps, many of us here reincarnated from centuries ago where empires are run by kings and tyrant, and perhaps some of us who got on the "wrong side" in the past, and was being punished harshly, wanted to come back again in this life to experience being on the "right side" of the kingship A.K.A. Trumpism, so that they can finally experience both sides. Many trumpsters act like they know what they are talking about - that Trump is God send, that it is a reckoning of great change, and of course, they want to be on the "right" side of history, and they think, liberal society has not gave them that opportunity to experience being superior over "the other", whether it is immigrant, women or minorities.

For this, I do not blame them. It is what they chose to experience in this life. And so it is not my place to take that experience away from them, to say that they couldn't do that. Even if this means inching closer to destroy 250 years of liberal democracy that our ancestors have painstakingly built.

Is there light at the end of the tunnel? Yes I believe so, but for this tunnel will be long, dark, full of murk, confusion, and danger. Nonetheless at the same time I am witnessing ever-increasing voices of us who are in the light, who came here to spread the message that we are all loved and we can be kinder and create a better world. More and more of us are speaking up against the injustices of the world, and many refused to be silenced despite potential threats to their livelihoods.

For us who are the spiritually mature, we are able to see things from a more holistic perspective, as we do not forget history, and we are open to wisdom. We do not fear in the face of tyranny, perhaps for many of us, too, that we have lived many past lives, many of them perhaps oppressive, brutal even. But we now came here to share our wisdom, to fight, and to give ourselves a chance at defeating tyranny, once again, for ourselves and for the world that we want to inherit.

It may be best from time to time that we reconnect from within, step away for a moment, and contemplate "what are we actually here for"? As opposed to the Trumpsters, being lost in autopilot, it will take them a LONG time, if not till their deaths, to learn and let go of their misconceptions.

May Spirit guide us in every action we take.
